42. Wait... those aren't the words?

O. M. G.
It's your very last assignment.

Here's was you have to do.

Find your favorite music video - KeepVid it.
Find your other favorite music video - KeepVid it.

Put both music videos in your Premire Pro Library

1. Drag the first video (the video that you want to keep - with the audio you don't) into your timeline. Make sure it is in the Video 1 slot.

  • Right click the clip and unlink
  • Delete the audio
2. Drag your second video (the audio that you want to keep - with the video you don't) into your timeline -- on top of the other video. Make sure that this is in the Video 2 slot, playing at the same time as Video 1.
  • Right click the clip and unlink
  • Delete the video

Voila!
Super easy!! Super fun!!!

41. Making a Movie

Use Adobe Premiere to put together a compilation of video clips on a topic of your choosing.

It could be a "Best of" compilation showing the best quotes or scenes from your favorite movies or compile some examples of different film techniques (cuts, angles, etc.) that directors use for various effects.

I want to see you use different video sources (not all from the same source) and titles in a compilation that is between two & four minutes in length. You can swap out audio, slow things down, speed things up, whatever you'd like.

Please keep it clean with no bad language, extreme violence or nudity. You are welcome to >bleep< out the bad words if you'd like! Here's a tutorial!

Here are some ideas:
Quotable Movies
Movie Catchphrases
Movie Theme Songs
TV Show Intros
Even, Top 10 Morgan Freeman Performances
(i KNOW, right?!)

Requirements:
1. 2-3 min video
2. Add credits at the end naming the titles of the shows/movies you used
3.Overall the clip must have a story or flow

Getting Videos:
Go to YouTube & find a clip
Copy/Paste the URL into KeepVid & click Download
Save in mp4 (480p) format
Share a copy of the file in the class folder :-)

38. Do It For The Vine!

Vines are short 6 second videos that capture interesting or funny moments. Check out the Web site https://vine.co and search for your favourite vine.

In addition to regular vines, if you type in #animated under the search function, you find a variety of short animations using different mediums or techniques.

Your task for today is to create your own vine...sort of.
  • Your animation should be minimum 144 frames or six seconds playing at 24 frames per second
  • Make sure to incorporate at least one motion and one shape tween.
  • In addition to animating, you will be required to add sound to your Vine. Search various sites for .mp3 files.
Save as a .swf file to the Q drive (just like race car).

Be Creative!
